What Makes Our School Unique?

Welcome to Alex Green Elementary Impact School! We are located on the outskirts of the city in beautiful northwest Davidson County.

The curriculum at Alex Green is based on Tennessee State standards in all core subjects. We are fortunate to have the benefits of the Reading First in Tennessee grant, providing funding for materials, professional development and a Literacy Leader to assist in the effective implementation of Balanced Literacy.

The faculty and staff at Alex Green Elementary are dedicated in providing our students a safe and nurturing learning environment where student success is highly encouraged. We strive to provide the best opportunities for our boys and girls.

PENCIL Foundation, a nonprofit organization, links community resources with Nashville public schools. A PENCIL Partner is a business or other community organization that teams up with a Metro school to volunteer time and donate resources that promote student success.
